Jan 21 ~catching up~

I don't know where the week has gone! I thought it was starting to get a bit milder, but this morning it was very cold when I left for work. I feel the sniffles coming back...ugh!
I have been getting a little bit of stitching done, but my camera battery has died so I won't be able to post pictures until the weekend.
I've started one set of squares for the Fair & Squares exchange. Also worked a bit on "Three Things" and the Beatrix Potter Quaker Sampler. I'm almost finished with the first of three ornaments for this month...better get moving on those! And last night I started the Inauguration Sampler design from The Sampler Girl while watching the ceremony and events from yesterday. What a wonderful day...I was in awe watching the faces of everyone in the enormous could just feel the hopefulness and pure joy. I am not a very political person, but I am looking forward to the next four years and I truly believe that that they will be good years if we all work together to make it so.

  1. Hope you start feeling better soon.

  2. Hope you are feeling better soon. You've got some great stitching projects going!

  3. Hi Lynda, I am answering you question that you left on my blog -- the "twistie" is someones pattern and I know not who!! I try to stitch one every once in a while so as not to forget how to do it. The circle is the inside of an inexpensive wooden hoop with a fabric tube folded over the hoop. I use mat board circles for the bottom. There is more, but I truly do not want to have the designer, whoever that may be find out that I am sharing her design finish.

I do hope that you do not get the sniffles and good luck with all your projects - I have finished BP and have it framed and hanging in my dining room.

    Until later --- Roberta

  4. Hope you're feeling better:)

I was hooked to the t.v. on inauguration Day! I am also very hopeful and have great faith our new President will lead us out of this mess we're in:)

  5. Oh Lynda, I hope you are feeling alreadey better by now. I'm curious to see your progress on BP.
