I finished my first book of the new year...Threadbare by Monica Ferris. It's the latest in her needlework shop series. I like these stories, although sometimes it takes me a while to get into the story. This one was pretty good though. I've just started Unraveled by Maggie Sefton. This is a really good series with some good characters...knitting mysteries. I've got a whole stack of Cozies waiting for me and I can't wait!
No stitching tonight, but I spent some time going through my stash looking for a design for a round robin. I think I've found one I like...it's a friendship sampler...I'll have to sleep on it, but I think it's a go.
I signed up for Becky's BAP challenge...I'm going to do Quaker Christmas II from ByGone Stitches. I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish it this year, but it will be fun trying! I have my pattern and threads...just waiting for some fabric.
And now I think it's time for bed...
Thanks for taking the time to visit!
Good luck with your BAP challenge. Quaker Christmas is a beautiful piece
ReplyDeletegood luck dear with your bap challenge..sending you hugs xx
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about working. I need more stitching time. I hope my new schedule of Wed off will help my yearnings. I'll still need to work 40 hours but ill take a vac day every 2 weeks and work 5 hours every other Sat. I sure can't manage PB less then 40 hours unless I win the lottery!
