oct 2 - Blogtoberfest and some giveaways

I have been sorely neglecting both my own blog and others lately and I apologize for that. Can't believe it's a new month already! And time for "blogotberfest"! This is all new to me, but it's not too late to join in and you can find some details here. Sounds like a blast...I just hope I can keep up!
